Both for the games rented in PS Plus Extra and Premium collections and Full Game Time Limited Trials, but also for select digital PS5 games you bought for PS5 outside the subscription. PS5 games via cloud gaming is coming, they already announced a beta this week. If you know Retroarch, you can probably set it up for most of these retro games and emulators, but I highly recommend going with standalone. There are already many of them in PS Plus Premium, or you can buy them on disc or digitally without needing to have the subscription. As for other emulators, I would say download Daijisho Emulator Frontend from Google Play Store and it will recommend you the best emulators for all other platforms such as N64, NES, SNES, Dreamcast etc. The only way to play natively in PS4 or PS5 some PS3 games is via ports, crossgen, remasters and remakes for PS4/PS5. It's very difficult to emulate without many bugs, and in addition to this it wouldn't be possible to do it at full speed. Click to expand.According to the dev of the main PS3 emulator and a Sony engine programmer from the PS3 era (ICE Team / Insomniac), it's impossible to properly emulate (full speed, no major bugs, supporting most games) PS3 on PS4 or PS5 hardware.
